Yet another tilt question

OK I pull my tilt yesterday, and it does have the horseshoe connector.I have called every parts store in the area and can't get an adapter.Sooooo can I swap the turn signal switches, and make it work that way?

They suggest splicing the wires, which I really would like to NOT do except as a last resort.

Did you try your GM dealer? I got mine there, but several years ago. I also noticed them recently on ebay.

I guess I don't understand your question because the adapter converts flat to horseshoe. If your column is already horseshoe you shouldn't need an adapter to plug into your wire harness

look for them at scrap yard under the non tilts i found quite a few of them when looking for my tilt. just cut and splice. they used them quite a bit in production i guess.

You can use a small, flat screwdriver or a straight bobby pin and release the wire/terminal from the plastic connector. Insert it between the terminal and the plastic. Push it out the back and re-install it in the other connector. It is harder to describe than it is to do, so if you have an old one bust up the plastic and you will see how the factory assembles them. Nothing to it.

Neon gave you the part number. Last one I bought was like 5 or 6 bucks out the door, with tax included, at the dealership.
