The question I have is how is the back window rubber gasket deleted? It looks to me like the glass is urethaned in with a narrow rubber trim, similar to what new vehicles use. There is more involed in the mod than that, I'm sure. The pinchweld is not large enough to accept the urethane needed, and the glass is too small to just set in the opening. Can someone explain? It also looks like the windshield has the same treatment. I want to do this, and would like to know the correct way of doing it.

Judging by the height of the glass, it's a chopped top truck anyway. So there could be lots of modifications going on there.

Longhair is correct. Who else could spot a chopped top so quick. The top on that truck has been chopped. The window channel was modded to accept the flush fit glass....

back window looks like a flush mount ... but the front window looks like a normal gasket to me.

Ray, I'm still here. I would like to post answers more often, but by the time I get to the computer, someone has already given my answer, or the answer I am looking for is here already. I'm here quite a bit.

The strech has came back to life after a long pause, but is really no further ahead then when you saw my pics. Now I want to add this to the mix. I have my ideas on how to do it, but would like the opinion of someone who has seen/done it. All I have is mag pics as a reference. Maybe even just an educated guess would give me a different way of attacking it. I guess I am looking for procedure, more than identification. I know it has been modded, but how. That is the million dollar question.

I don't want to screw it up and have to throw away the work I have done. This has to be right on, because I don't think there is a way to bend, shrink or massage a windshield and back glass to fit.I've found that out the hard way at work.

If I were to guess I'd say he extended the flange around the rear window for extra surface area, cut a new (and bigger to match the opening) rear window from laminated safety glass (ACARA Glass is pretty good at this. Talk to Darryl) and then masked the black pinch weld primer on tha glass to give a nice border on the glass, then he urethaned it in. If you look close at the top edge of the glass it looks like you can see the line along it's edge where the laminations in the glass are. If I was going to try that that's how I'd do it. Are you still working over at Autocolor?

I think you are correct. It looked flush at first glance, but after looking at the other pics I think that is a rubber gasket...

Yeah that back window looks trick. I also like the 3rd brake light. Does anyone know where i can find one of those but with a clear lense?

I'm not a flame kinda guy, but those look really cool.

I think those flames look awesome, I wish mine were done in that exact style!

Why would you want a clear lense? You can use a clear one on the back of the vehicle except as a cargo light or back-up light. I doubt if something like that would illuminate well enough for a cargo light.

Here is my cargo lamp, looks amazing in my opinion.

Slogo, that is a different truck. There are no drip rails on the pic you posted and are on the others. Still a very nice color. Do you have any more pics of that truck, or a link?

I think the glass is glazed on from the inside as well, look at the glass from within the inside and you will see a black seam around. Any way if its not..... thats the way I would do it if I wanted that look. Just trim up and clean the pinch weld and make a lager peice of glass to be glued on the inside surface of the cab

Led's light up any color you want them to (red in this case) and my truck will be painted Silver with clear lenses so it would be pointless to install a red lens on a third brake light because it would defeat the point of clear taillight lenses.

Right now i dont have anything there but i thought an led clear lense 3rd brake light would look trick if i could flush mount it like the guy in the 1st post did.

You should be able to find these lights and housings at any of several hot rod fabrication sites. I've seen them available, but don't remember where. Some guys use them for tail lights, backup lights, and/or brake lights on their hot rods.

What do ya'll think??? Buy it now for $86,900??? Sounds a little too extravagant for me..

Funny enough but i played around with google for an hour one day and couldnt find any of these. If anyone knows a site please post a link. Also, could someone post a link to the orange truck on ebay. I wanted to look at all the photos again.

try picking up a copy of streetrodder. there are lots of vendors that advertize these types of lights.
