Hey Jim, weird thing is that I think that I have both. The only thing is that I pulled it from my brother in laws 78 Blazer. I'm not sure if they are all the same but from what i've seen they look the same. I'll get back to you on that when I find them.

OK Jim, that didn't take long They are just where I thought that I left them. They are both in really good condition, the ring has some surface rust but would clean up easily. The boot is also in very good condition.

Let me know if you want them and I Should be able to get them out today.

I should probably get some pics of this thing for you to make sure. Or if you have your old one and could give me a good description or post pics of it I could try to match it up. I'm pretty slow at getting pics :banghead:

Larry, It should be oval shaped. I don't have a pic but could use the boot too. I'll take a pic this afternoon. Don't have the old one either.

Hey Jim, the perimeter of the boot is oval shaped but the center part is round. The retainer ring is also oval shaped. The measurements on the boot are approximately 6.5" wide by 8" in length. It has a retainer ring with the same dimensions and another ring that bolts over the retainer (I'm assuming that it's a bezel of some sort, measurements are 8.25" W X 9.5"L)

Must be the shifter boot then. Makes sense, Probably grabbed it for my 67 step when I was going to transfer from column shift to a floor shift. Sorry Jim.

I THINK I have one off my 72. I'll do some more looking and let you know. It'd be just the retainer though. I think the boot was shot.

I'm sure you know Jim, but the boot is available new. I put one on my green K20. I think my parts Jimmy is missing the retainer, but I'll look.

Jim, I have one. $10 includes shipping, boot is free if you need it. It has acouple of small cracks in it.
