Brake Fluid ???'s
i am going to do all new drum brakes. drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, springs/hardware, wheel bearings. did i miss anything? my question, how do i clean out all the old brake fluid? is there a simple/smart way to do it? this will be for the fronts and rear. thanks - any other advice is welcome.

Suck out the fluid with an old turkey baster, wipe out the crap at the bottom and refill before you start bleeding. You can use some brake clean to help clean out the master, but don't use very much. I have made my fair share of older master cylinders go bad from using too much brake clean. The old seals don't seem to like the stuff.

You can flush out the system with alcohol.
