booster with disc's
If i use disc's in the front and rear,do i need a booster? This is on my 58 long bed. johnj

realisticly YES
why? well it's safer, you don,t need to have a huge leg to push it, it will shorten your stopping distance by quite a bit and disk brakes really weren't designed for non boosted systems. side questions -are you conserned about the look of the booster, cost or something else? i'm currently trying to figure out how i want to boost mine so i'm looking for ideas as well. -what rear disk brake setup are you using? ondrew |
I have a chance to pick up a rear end that has discs on it. It's out of a camaro or firebird. They say a 71 to 80 fits pretty good. The cost is more than drum so to equal it out i was going to do away with the booster. If i use the booster i will just get the drum rear end. johnj
