Body Mount Bushings?

What type should I get and where should I get them? I need the two front clip bushings and the four cab bushings :) These are for a daily driven, K25, so I don't need something for high performance handling. Just something that will ride nice, and not have the back of the cab sag down.

I need them too. I think rubber would be the best for a soft ride. Poly I hear is harsh. So far I've found LMC Trucks to carry them.

i bought thr polyurethane ones from LMC for my GMC 76 K15 4X4.

I love them what a diff from the pieces of tire that was stacked up holding my cab.

it came with the rad support bushings and the cab ones.

They are great truck rides great

I bought the rubber cushion kit from LMC. It comes with all bolts and washers. I did this when I swapped cabs on my C20. I had one cab bolt that really was in there! I had to soak it for a while and use a cheeter pipe to get it loose. The ride is good, but it's still a C20. I also put a thin strip of rubber between the bed and frame where the bed bolts mount. I'm hopeing that will kill any squeaks. David

Looking at the LMC catalog, they list 3 different kits for 73-80. One for C10/15, one for K10/15 and one for CK20/25. The pictures looks like the rear cab mount is different on 4x4s.

Parts Source has them I believe. They are a division of Cdn Tire so should be out your way.

If not Cross Canada parts have them. About $49.00 each if I remember right.

I thought about cross canada too, but I can hardly justify spending 50 bucks a bushing when I can get an entire kit for 100 bucks US

buy poly, like 50.00 at summit racing.

Paso76GMCstepper 02-24-2005 07:37 PM

54 bucks on sale at Summit. They are Energy Suspension Products. I used the exact same kit I love em. Only I paid 90 bucks to LMC 6 months ago!!!

U wont be sorry!!

Alright, the summit option is looking good. I cannot tell, but does the kit include the bushings I need for the rad support?

yes it does.

MylilBowTie 02-25-2005 05:48 AM

What all does it really come with? I dont see the top mounts pictured with the bottom mounts.

Paso76GMCstepper 02-25-2005 05:57 AM

u will get the rad support spacers, and all the cab mounts The new hardware is for the rear of the cab monts. U will need to cut off the steel spacer that is in the originals and reuse them. The directions will be in there. It is real easy to figure out what is what with the manual. Let me see if I can find the manual online. That would really help to explain

Hmm, I guess I am going to have to go garbage picking then, I tossed all the old mounts yesterday :P
