Removing rear leaf springs...HELP!

I've got a '72 C-10 with leaf springs. I'm in the process of removing the srings, axle, and everything to clean it up and paint it. I've tried 3/4" sockets and ratchets and a 5' long cheater bar, and I can't budge the mounting bolts on the front of the leaf spring (not the shackle end). It's one bolt through the mounting perch and spring, about 3/4" in size and is rusted into what looks like one solid piece. What is the best way of getting the spring out WITHOUT screwing up the spring or the mounting perch? Thanks for any suggestions.

get out the Mexican fire wrench. you know, professor blue-tip. most likely the bolt is rusted & froze to the steel sleeve in the middle of the rubber bushing. the bad thing is you will need to replace the bushings. but they are probably bad anyway.
good luck
