And, a ball joint question...
 

Can someone tell me the torque spects on the upper and lower ball joints for a 71 C-20? All my books are for a '67, and I found out the hard way that the lower IS NOT 215 lbs., for a 71, like on a 67. Thank god I just ruined the nut, and not the new ball joint! :rolleyes:

My Haynes manual says 90 ftlbs for both.

CE is right it's 90lbs for both and then tighten the castellated nut to the next hole for the cotter key. Never loosen.
