Replacement gas tank - Behind seat
 

Greetings.

My father-in-law is going to give me his Dad's 67 Chevy stepside. I has 80,000 original miles and is virtually rust free except for the inside of the gas tank.

Any advise on replacement gas tank for 67 chevy ? I am looking for a new replacement tank and have found quite a few companies on the web who sell them - who do you recommend ?

Welcome to the board!!

Actually, there are a lot of people who relocate there tanks to under the bed. If you post your location, you may be able to find a cheap used one from someone on the board. Most of these tanks still look great after 30+ years, after all, they are kept in the cab all of their life.

Where were you guys when I was looking for a mint outer grille?

I dont have a tank, but Im very close to kent. Up on the west hill off 272nd.

If outer grilles were mounted behind the seat in the cab you may have seen a lot of those too :hm: :lol:
