Replacement gas tank - Behind seat
Greetings.
My father-in-law is going to give me his Dad's 67 Chevy stepside. I has 80,000 original miles and is virtually rust free except for the inside of the gas tank. Any advise on replacement gas tank for 67 chevy ? I am looking for a new replacement tank and have found quite a few companies on the web who sell them - who do you recommend ? Thanks Keith |

Welcome to the board!!
Actually, there are a lot of people who relocate there tanks to under the bed. If you post your location, you may be able to find a cheap used one from someone on the board. Most of these tanks still look great after 30+ years, after all, they are kept in the cab all of their life.

Welcome to the board from Kent, WA. I have three good tanks out by my barn. You can have them all if you come and get them!

A warm welcome to the board from Wisconsin! Getting a Blazer or Burb tank and installing it under the rear of the bed between the frame rails is a popular conversion.
