i have checked the fuse as well as the power wire, and they still don't work, what else other than a worn out motor could it be?

What model truck?

If you have power too them I would guess you hav a bad motor. It's fairly common to have those motors die. They really aren't tough to replace, just time consuming.
|
I have also seen the switch die. (mine)

i buy a new switch every spring so far ive gone thru 6 of them they work for a couple weeks then quit so now i have wipers but only when i push the button in for the sprayers
|
I also have to hold the button in. I tried 3 used switches with the same results. Could they all be bad? If I reach under the dash and touch the right wire just right they work. I have replaced the plug and all wires look to be in great shape.

Thank you for the replies, how would I check the switch? Where is the wiper motor? 1970 Chevrolet C/10 Aaron |
Wiper motor is on the interior side of the firewall behind your dash.....if you look up under your dash you will see it. Not real easy to get to.
