broken bolt
i broke the pinion shaft bolt in my differential right at the end of the threads. what is the easiest way to remove the pin part of it?
|
yeah good luck. anytime ive broke em ive just got another full rearend and bolted the whole thing in.

this is the axle that i just bought to replace the one that i destroyed so replacing it is not an option. the axles for the coil spring suspensions are kind hard to find where i live and i only found 2 that were decent and the other one is half burried in the dirt. i'm going to try to drill it out tomorrow
|
i think that bolt wont be easy to drill out if i remeber right i tried a easy out once it took for ever to drill a small hole i end up heating the bolt on the carrier and chiesled the rest out .oh i chiesed a small line across the bolt and got a screwdrive on the end and turned out
