F/S 71 C10 parts truck

Well I have lost storage for the 2nd time, so I am going to have to get rid of this thing, either whole or parting it out. 307 Auto, p.s., coil rear, tons of rust, drives and stops OK but doesn't like to idle. Great donor for 5 bolt and auto swap. Just want my $$ back after buying permits, gas, etc.. $400.00

How much for the hubcaps?? Do all 4 match?? Do they have the chevy emblem??

HeavyD 09-05-2005 12:03 AM

I think there are only 3..I will check tomorrow.

HeavyD 09-07-2005 01:06 AM

Only 3 hubcaps there (and one is beat to crap). Anyone out there need parts truck? I have to get rid of this thing soon.

HeavyD 09-26-2005 03:02 PM

TTT one last time. No storage and I am getting told to move this thing out. I would really like to sell this thing whole. Surely someone somewhat close to me wants to swap over to 5 bolt?? If not I will try and sell some parts before sending it to the scrapper.

Is it currently registered in SK? I may nead a winter beater/yard truck.

HeavyD 09-26-2005 09:53 PM

Ya, it has been registered in Sask. I had permits on it just to drive it around. I will pm you with the gory details.

If I didn't have to get an out of province inspection on it, I'd put a 6.2 in, and use it as a winter beater :)

There is a guy in Ardrossan that is looking to get rid of a 70 C10 without a motor if your interested. I have not seen it but I will be in Ardrossan Saturday and may know more. Let me know if you are interested and I can find out his contact info for you.

Sorry, Did I steal the thread?
How do I undo it, or should I just beg to be forgiven?

HeavyD 09-27-2005 07:46 PM

No prob.

Vince -- How much, and where?

I'm free Saturday Afternoon to take a look :)

I also got a line on a 5.9 Cummins, so maybe she'll get a good diesel, rather than just a 6.2

VinceY 09-28-2005 11:47 AM

Russell pm sent
