Pros/cons w/ bedliner in cab

What are the pros and cons of using beliner stuff on the bottom of my cab. Dont want to use paint because I want it to last a long time and im afraid of using undercoating because heat might make it stick to the carpet.
Thanks

I am too interestied in this we used it on my brothers jeep and it helped alot with road noise and it seemed to work fairly well but yeah what will it do to carpet and whatnot?

One con I thought about was that these trucks have proven themselves far from water proof. It would seem that using a spray-in liner would allow any water that gets to those "in between areas" (that can't be coated) to be trapped.

I think the stuff would work great as a sound deadener though & I'm seriously considering the option.
