exhaust, under rear trailing arms or over top?
 

is there room to run your exhaust over the top of your rear trailing arms,or is it under?getting a new system installed 4/16 and kinda cornfused by what the installer told me by phone.this aint right is it?can't recollect how the present system is run.goin' to a 2.5 w/ the new flowmasters that have been sitting in the basement for 3 wks. drivin' me nuts to get installed!

The exhaust on our trucks with two wheel drive and trailing arms are set up with the pipes over the top of the arms. it seems to work well that way. I have never seen them run under.

The pipes run just inside the frame rails past the crossmember, and then up and over the trailing arms. You don't need too much clearance here, because the arms travel maybe 1"-1.5" this close to the pivot point.

Here's a frame picture I saved showing exhaust routing. I think it's pretty close to stock. I can't remember who's truck this is. Sorry!
