72 Chasis Price????
In dire need of a cab and bed for project truck
Have a chance to buy a 72 Factory A/C cab, Bed good shape minor holes and a larger dent (no crease), cab needs rocker/corners and a little floor pan work, good fenders etc. The guy wants $1000 which I think is a little steep or steeper thanI wnat to pay. So I started to think what I dont need I could sell to recoop some $$. Just asking ballpark figures for complete longbed chasis with disk brake front, 12 bolt rear (open carrier), 350 that runs (autozone motor with 30,000) and a turbo 350 that is no good) could a guy get $500 or is that out of the question?? thanks guys |
Re: 72 Chasis Price????
Definately sounds like you would have some good parts to sell afterward.

Re: 72 Chasis Price????
Just for comparison I paid $200 or 250 for a rolling 71 chasis with no motor or trans. Front discs, 3.08 posi, and a PS box. $500 doesn't sound completely out of reach if everything besides the trans is in good shape.

Re: 72 Chasis Price????
I need to start hauling trucks/parts trucks up north, I found a driving 72 Camper Special with rebuilt 400 SB, air cab but they left out compressor, $1000, as well as a 72 Cheyenne air cab with no engine/tranny, $500.
