Blazer Windsheild Frames.

Well I contacted my sheetmetal supplier about manufacturing Blazer windsheild frames and this time they said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I will be cutting my parts Blazer's windsheild frame out and sending it in!! It probably will be a year or so before they are done and we will not be getting any exclusivity on the part, but they will be available. Now I just got to figure out where I want to cut it at. I was going to take the rear floor sections and have those done as well, but once I removed the rockers the lower sections were completely gone...:whine: :whine: WES

I'd be nice if they would do a Blazer in a crate just like they are with the 69 Camaro...

Cut eh windshield frame just above the curve at the bottom of the windshield. I think the most difficult part would be fabricating around the top of the frame. If you had too, you could still fabricate some of the cowl on your own. Just a thought from some of the ones I have seen on the board that were rusted.

Yeah, get as much as you can,ol`boy.Great news!I racked one on a rollover and had to go strictly soft top.Another thought. There will be a few more rag top pickups as a result of your effort.

Well, my truck windshield frame is crap. I don't want a soft top though. Removable hard top, yes.

Excellent job WES!!!

I'm rebuilding my frame complete. No cutting. I got the pillars whole both sides from the yard. Hammer and flat chisel. Boy my arms were sore for a week. Won't have to worry about misalignment and measuring.

Re: Blazer Windsheild Frames.

I think its definitely a step in the right direction, from what I've seen rust in the ws frame area intimidates even some bodymen and that's what causes a lot of em to get cut up...or worse, descent bodies getting cut up to patch a rustbucket :(
