Sagging Question
67 GMC 305E much abused truck with a sag to the drivers side.... Do you think this is from weak springs or shocks... Thinking of replacing both ,,,, What else should I be on the look out for Thanks...

Re: Sagging Question
I think you answered your own question. C1500? Truck unloaded, measure the distance from the rear axle tube to a reference point on the frame on both pass and driver sides. I doubt the leaf springs are unevenly "sprung". Could be a front coil also. Only way to determine what's out of whack is get under there and start measuring. Are the body mount rubber bushings rotted and causing the cab/front clip to sag? If so, the bed will be level w/ground and cab will be off-kilter.

Re: Sagging Question
Glad this is about springs. Just reading the title, I assumed you were bashing the little lady....but those can be repaired also.....so either way, we got you covered.

Re: Sagging Question
Just when you look at it from the front the drivers side is down lower... Whats the best place to measure to....
