How can you tell if you have a double wall top?

How heavy are the top's?

Double wall......bolts bottom up......single wall....top down. Double wall....like I have.....no idea on weight.......but I'd guess from lifting mine....about 200-ish.....Single wall weight....I have no experiance on that one.....

I've got the double wall then I guess too. Is one more valuable than the other? My dad and I took mine off and it was pretty tough. Three people would make more sense.

I've heard that more people want the singles.....but I personally like my double.....Three people definately works better......The single wall tops also have curteousy lights on one side I think....:)

Patch got most of it right, Yes a single has dome lights in it, the same
oval type like in a regular cab truck, the advantage to a Single wall is
that IF you have rear cargo panels they will have to be removed with
a double, where as in a Single wall since it bolts from the top down the
panels do not need to be removed to get the top off, and if you have
a 72 model it is possible that your bed rails are drilled for both, because
they do NOT use the same mounting holes to bolt on except in the frt.
