ive got a set of 15*8 sunrasier type rims fitted with 33/12.50's,but they stick out too far.they have got about 2.75" back space.how much more back space could i give it without having to grind the front calipers too much?how much is every one else running?thanks

Re: wheel backspacing

You can go up to 4"s of back spacing and be fine.

3.75" to 4" of back spacing seems to be 'the' good all around fit.

thanks for that,i cut the centre out of one of the rims tonight, ill put it in at 3.75" and bolt it on to see how it looks.
do you also have to grind any off the backing plate/cover on the disc?

I`ve put 8-lug 10x15 white spokes (whatever std backspacing is)on a `71 K/20.I just had to grind the caliper at it`s hi-spot along it`s radius at the casting seem.
