Is there a difference in tie rod sleeves?

I was looking at napa online and they list 2 different tie rod adjusting sleeves. One is listed as "manual" and is $16, the other os "power" and is $30.

My '69 was a manual truck and I added a power box. I am replacing my tie rod ends, so should I "upgrade" to the power sleeves? Is there a difference?

My truck drives straight, but the driver front tire has worn on the shoulder in a matter of days. I figured I would replace the upper control shafts and tie rod ends. I replaced the ball joints when I installed the disc brakes.

Is there anything else I should replace as well? The bottom shafts are tight. Thanks.

Where did you get those Ram-Man. I have been looking for that style for our trucks. The ones that Hotchkis makes are SWEET but they don't make them in the larger bore to fit our truck, only muscle car stuff that is smaller..

Yes, where did you get those? I used the disc setup from GMC Pauls, so I am still running my '69 tie rods. Have a link?

Found them here and they are only $50 for the pair!

I don't see why not. I am using the same tie rods and the order form say "specify year" so they must make a setup of 63-70.

The kit I got changed the tie rod ends to the 73-87 style so I'm not sure about fitting the older ones.
