Leaky 68

I've got a problem. My truck is leaking way too much oil. I noticed it this weekend when I came to a stop and there was some smoke comming out from under the cab right after the header collectors. I cleaned things up and narrowed it down to my passenger side valve cover gasket that wasn't sealing good. I changed that one and drove it again today. There was some improvment, now instead of throwin out 2 quarts every 30 miles its down to 1 quart every 30 miles. I inspected the valve covers and theres no oil comming from there. I checked the oil pressure line and fitting and noticed some there so I cleaned it up and retightened it. My distributor doesnt seem to have any leakage around it and the hold down is good and tight. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if its any better or worse. Anyone have any ideas? Pkease help.

You said when you put on the brakes so I would check the pan gasket where it meets the timing chain cover. This is a problem area.
