1953 Chevy PU w/ 235ci.

I hastily removed the wires and plugs to soak the pistons in deep penitrating lube, and now I forgot how the wires connect to the distributor and block. Rather, I forgot the order in which they were arranged. If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Pictures might help as well if you have them.

This motor has been sitting for a while, and here's what we plan to do:

New plugs and wires
New cap and roter
Pertronix Ignitor II and Flamethrower II coil (elec. ignition)
New fluids, belts, and filters
New battery and terminals
New Thermostat
Valve cover Gasket
Re-pack the bearings
New tires
Rebuild on the 1bbl rochester Carb
Minor brake job and bleed
Replace Manifold gasket also...

What else can be done to get this thing moving, and running well enough to move it around town. We need to get it rolling so that we can take it to do the exhaust, paint, etc... What would you suggest?

Finally, we want it running as healthy as possible.
How do you set the timing properly?
Ideal gap for plugs?
Any tune up tips will be much appreciated.

I'm sorry for the story. I'm just excited to help my buddy on a cool truck. have a great day.
