Front Cups

I got front cups from Suicide Doors and they dont seem to sit all the way down in the spring pockets on my 72. Has anybody else had this problem. It looks like i need to grind a taper on the bottom to fit down flat since the spring pocket is tapered. Also am I supposed to bolt the lower conrtol arm to the bottom of the bag through the cup or bolt the cup to the bag and allow the trucks weight to keep the cup in the spring pocket.

Grind the cups so they fit your control arm. Some guys take more off as they're trimming them to fit in an effort to gain more drop.

Bolt the cups to the bags & allow the trucks weight to keep them in position.

i have those and i cut them down to about an inch. they are made to be free floating and they wont come out from the weight and the air pressure pushing them to the control arm

This is a coming issue that has been talked about here many times before. The consensus is to buy the cups from Air Ride because they are slightly smaller in diameter and will fit better than the SD cups.
