POA Valve to Orfice Tube?
I did a search and didn't find anything on AC valves. I think my poa valve is messed up on my 72 C10. (keeps freezing up) I have heard you could convert this to an orfice tube set up. I was just wondering what was involved with this change over or has anyone tried it yet.
Thanks |

Thanks for the links Guys.
A new POA Valve cost more than Big Block Accessory Brackets and Tool Box Doors? $325-$625 WOW! |
Re: POA Valve to Orfice Tube?
There is a cheaper way than that. Go buy a 90's chevy truck acumlator and add it to the system. Put the tube in the bottom line take the dryier out of the system and your done. The fittings can be made at any A/C shop that you need. That's what I did and it works great and a lot cheaper. I just redid the compressor. I bought a aftermarket with the brackets. I have all the factory brakets if anyone needs them for the old comressor.
I need some updated pictures but here is the 2nd revision. Revision 3 pictures will be soon. http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/...01038/AC71.JPG |
