Where do your gauges operate?
 

Just curious as to where the temp/oil/and volt gauge should be when operating?

My volt gauge sits in the middle no matter what.

My temp gauge will go to about the 12 o'clock position when driving around town.

The oil gauge is about 10:00 o'clock at idle and 12:00 o'clock driving.

I've just been recently messing with this.

Have a temporary mech temp gauge hooked up and my factory temp gauge at 12:00 is 180 deg and the first tick into the red is about 200.

The oil pressure gauge reads 60 lbs max (each tick is 15 lbs)

Don't have the amp gauge hooked up yet.

My ammeter sits in the middle too but that's cause the leads on the printed circuit is blown up....not gonna fix it either.

Temp gauge sits in the middle or slightly lower unless I'm hauling a$$ on the freeway in the TX summer heat, and then it'll creep up to almost hot.

Oil gauge runs 10 o'clock at idle but probably 2 o'clock under load, depending on the temp of the motor

My temp gauge stays right around the center tick mark, a little lower driving around town, a little higher at 70mph. Oil pressure stays in the middle, sxcept at idle, then it goes to the 10:00 o'clock position.
The ammeter normally points straight up, except when cranking the starter, thenit goes to the D mark, and after the engine starts, goes towards the C until the battery gets recharged. Some people don't like ammeter gauges, but I much prefere them.
