Re: control knobs

The light switch has a spring loaded button on top near the back, when the button is depressed pull the light knob out, once removed the switch assy comes out from the back
The wiper knob has a set screw on the side of it ,remove knob switch comes out from the back
choke cable has a 7/16 nut holding it in from the backside unhook from carb, remove said nut, the whole assy comes out the front cable and all.
ps the nuts a b***ch to get to
same deal with the throttle cable if you have one
hope this helps

I came across a gauge panel in the junkyard that i wanted and the only thing holding it in was the choke bezel. I only had a screw driver with me and I tried for about 30mins using pieces of metal i found to pry that dam thing out of the truck. People walking by stopped to try to help me. I finally gave up and the next time I came back it had gone to the crusher, good riddance. I found another better gauge panel at the next junkyard.
