How to figure out how much lift is ON my truck?

Ok so the guy I bought my truck from said its got a 6" lift on it. It's got 35s on it right now and they look small. I am going to get 37s but after reading everyones comments it seems they MAY be a little big. I am thinking it's got an 8 inch lift on it. Anyone have any ideas? I believe it's a BDS lift.....at least the shocks say that and the springs have blue bushings in them. :hmm:

How old are the springs? Are there numbers (PN) still showing on top of the main leaf?

Show us some pics; can usually tell by the space between the top of the tire & fender well.

This is the only one I have right now :( I think it's a 6, it doesnt have the drop pitman arm. But the gap looks HUGE!
