Looking for frame parts
Looking for the rear frame rails (both sides) for a 69 short 4x4. About the last 12" or so. I am not sure if the 2wd coil spring trucks share the same rails or not. Shipping would be to 55744. Thanks

Re: Looking for frame parts
I think the 2wd rear frame parts should work. Are you needing past the rear crossmember? It's been a few years since I've had a 2wd 67-72 but I think the frame is the same past the last crossmember up a few feet till you get near the axle. The holes for the spring hangers will have to be drilled though.

Re: Looking for frame parts
They are the same. I'm using the back section of frame on my 67 SWB 4x4. The PO had a flat bed on it and welded some other stuff to it. What a mess. I'm replacing a little in front of the last crossmember so i get it also. I don't want to bolt a new one in. Jason

Re: Looking for frame parts
Thanks for the info. Anyone cutting up a frame that is fairly clean towards the back?
4bynut, i have a similar situation, but with some rust thrown in for good measure!! You should have seen the channel iron bumper that was on this thing. Eric |

Re: Looking for frame parts
Cool, thanks for the offer. I am looking for where the rear bumper would bolt on. About up to the rear cross member. The frame is not here at the moment, so it is tough to get a pic for you. Can you check the condition of the last 12-16 inches of the frame and let me know? Thanks, Eric
