Door is stuck shut

I took my rocker panels and shut my passenger side door. The next morning I go to open it and it doesnt open. I checked the opening mechanism and it works fine. Im thinking it is hung up on the latch on the cab that it snaps to. Your help is appreciated. Thanks Brian Wolf

They were rusted out so I cut them out and going to replace them with new ones.

What is BFH supposed to mean? Thanks for your help Brian Wolf

I bet that it caused the cab to sag a little, which is why the door got stuck.

Fast68Chevy 05-03-2002 11:19 PM

hit door right at back of door at latch*

A bfh and a pair of vise grips...all you'll ever need.
The hammer is to fix it with, and the vise grips to pinch your crushed finger to stop the bleeding.
