i ended up going to a nova clip on mine. there used to be a page around where a guy made his own caliper brackets, but it is gone now.

1/2 ton and 3/4 (6 lug) are the same spindle size. HD 3/4 ton (8lug) are larger and no one I know of makes a kit. We just completed a disc brake conversion on a customers truck but we replaced the axle with a 1/2 ton axle. We sell a disc conversion kit for 5 or 6 lug disc. The brackets are a simple thing to fabricate if you have the tools. The only thing you will need not easily available is the adaptor for the spindle to line up with the wheel bearings. The rest can be bought over the counter.

Re: 8 lug disc question!

I was working on an 8 lug disc conversion for 47-59 GM trucks but a death in the family and some work issues has placed it on the back burner. im tryin to get things wrapped up by the end of Jan and find a local guy to make my brackets as I dont have time.
All I have left is final mockup after I finish tapping my bracket holes.
It will be a 13" disc w/ big chevy floating caliper and will be a bolt-on affair. no welding or drilling.
Oh-and it uses stock hub so no bearing changes needed.
