Changing out stock tank w/ new one ?s
Okay, got my new tank, sending unit, etc and will be doing this tomorrow. Couple of questions, though:
1. Does anything need to be put on the new filler grommet for sealing purposes? 2. I've read about making sure the sender is sealed well. Any tips/tricks to making this happen? Thanks. sb |

Yeah, some had mentioned to make certain this gets a good seal. Also curious if the grommet on the cab needs any sealer or if it seals itself and doesn't allow moisture into the cab.

Lube the O-ring for the sending unit.It should be tight when you turn it.Be careful it doesn't bunch up or get pinched. On the grommet you will need
1.LOTS OF PATIENCE 2.Lube-I think most use dish soap. 3.A couple cold ones to celebrate with once you complete this task. |
