Need Help with Vaccum Can
My new cam left me with very little vaccum. I've heard of hooking up an additional can to get more vaccum and make the brakes work, Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks |

following the link that larry posted;
http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/500/555/555-63010.jpg That's the one I had when i was over cammed for power brakes. Run manifold vac to the brass nipple, then from the other port, to the booster. |
Re: Need Help with Vaccum Can
I think it goes the other way Andy. The black fitting is the "check valve". The vacuum is applied to there. It keeps the vacuum in, so it doesn't bleed-off when you shut the engine off, and it keeps back-fires out. Then the brass fitting goes on up to the check-valve on the booster.
