Disc Brake ?

i got a 72 frame with factory discs for my 70 C10, can i use/not use power booster, master cylinder and proportioning valve?
I really don't want to spend the little money i have on this.
Thanks!

cdowns is right.Use the MC from the front brake system you put on the truck. You can leave out the Booster but may need to check brake (pedal to MC rod length.

Re: Disc Brake ?

You can use the booster. Get a disc/drum MC for a 72 and you should good. If any adjustment is needed, it would be the stud coming out of the booster pushing on the MC. There should be just the slightest of gap between the two at rest.

Re: Disc Brake ?

You will still need a proportioning valve for the disc brakes. The 70 does not have a proportioning valve with drum brakes as cdowns mentioned.
