Re: VIN Plate Location

The VIN is located on the underside of the driver side door jamp...where you bump your head when you get in, if you don't duck.

oldfart:

If you have a 4-5-6 Chevy truck, series 10-30 C/K, the VIN plate, as installed at the manufacturer, is located on the driver side door jamb, so if yours isn't there, someone has removed/relocated it.

That is the correct location and that is the VIN tag, so you might want to check your information source and good luck finding yours. If yours isn't there, it should be, because that is where they were installed.

This is also true for 60-63...and Oldfart if yours is not there then as Tony said it has been removed.

Re: VIN Plate Location

On a 60-63 the vin plate is on the front vertical pillar in the door jamb.
