Corvette Ram Horn Purchase Question - yes another one

For the corvette ram horns (2.5" outlet) - do I just need to buy the same part number (674503) for both sides and then use a cut off wheel and a grinder to shave down the extra brackets on them...

Anybody have a before after picture of them for the mods they made to clean them up for install?

Good question. The ram's horns that I remember had the extension in the casting on the driver's side to mount accessories. But, that was before the heads were drilled/tapped. I have several sets in the garage, but not the larger diameter outlets that the 300-horse 327 engines had.

Yes, same part number on both sides. Saw/grind off the extra bosses if they are in the way or you want a better look.

Not sure if a cutoff wheel will be deep enough, maybe in chunks, but I used a bandsaw. Mine are to ugly to post up pics

I clamped mine in a big horizontal band saw and cut them off close, then used a buffer/grinder to smooth them out. They came out nice, but the Blazer is in storage, so no pictures till spring.:(
