Re: dash

the wiper knob has a set screw, the light knob releases behind the dash from the light switch , theres a button on the switch , depress it an the it releases the knob

Re: dash

the set screw on the wiper knob will take a small flat tip screw driver, grab the wiper knob as if you were gonna turn it on & feel with your finger next to the dash & you will feel the flat spot thats where the screw is. on the light switch , reach under the dash & feel around the light switch & you will feel the button , it will be on 1 of the sides of the switch . once you find it depress the switch the knob & shaft that goes into the switch will come out.:smoke:

Just took my kight switch out the other day while in the middle of teardown.....I was sitting on the rocker and when it came out, I punched myself in the face...HARD! I think I have a fatter lip. Warning: when you do find the release button, do not have face in front of switch!

Re: dash

turn the lights to the on position then push the button and hold a little tension on it while wiggling the knob in and out and it should come right out.yes we are still talking about the knob.

Here is a picture of that button

When the switch is in the dash, the button sits on top.
