how well would a elcamino rearend work?

what is the bolt pattern? how easy would it "bolt in"? what gears were in them? anybody tried to put one in a 64 yet?i have a 79 c10 front that is 5 lug and want a 5 lug rear. if the bolt pattern is different would it be worth it?

bolt pattern is "small" gm.
your c10 front is "big" gm.
they are different.
gears could be anything depending on the year and transmision, however most autos were 2:73

A friend of mine used one from a '69 El Camino in his '64. Seems like it was just a little bit narrower. Of course the trailing arm mounts had to be welded on and as Jon said they are 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern.
