tire and wheel question
 
is there any way to repair tire beads from leaking.the tire on my truck were flat from sitting in one spot for a while ,got them aired up and they started leaking from around the beads.is there anyway to fix it .btw the tires are still good.

You may have to remove the tire from the wheel. Wire brush or sandblast the bead. Prime/paint them. If there are pits lleft behind, use bead sealer. Initially pump the tires up to 40 psi to seat the bead good. Then lower it back down to the recommended pressure. You should be good to go.

yeah at the shop i work at we just bust them down and put some bead sealer junk on em it works everytime. or you can just hit with a large hammer right on the sidewall where they are leaking. but not too hard
