poly sway bar bushings?

hi

I was wondering what poly swaybar bushing ppl are running.I got a 3/4 ton front bar off the local salvageyard the other day.Its a 1 /14" bar,and going thru the nearby autozones' and checkers have netted only the energy suspension bushiings that say not for use on fullsize trucks.

C10n.UT, I got a used 3/4 ton front bar recently via Ebay, and refurbished it with black Hammerlite paint and got some Energy Suspension bushings with grease fittings. After reading the instructions it said not for full size trucks or Mustangs.
They look like they'll fit, anyone out there has any further input?

I put an 1 1/4 sway bar on mine with Moog bushings. Worked like a champ. Non greasable . Truck drives great. Do a search. I posted part numbers.

Go here oops no p/n's For a 1 1/4 sway bar takes two sets of Moog bushings p/n k6476. They come 2 per set.

The part number for Energy Suspension anti-sway bar bushings for a 1-1/4" bar is 3-5177G. These are the black ones which are graphite impregnated. The two which fasten to the frame will have zerk fittings so you can grease them if you ever need to.

The red ones, which don't have graphite, is 3-5177R, and have zerk fittings too.

The ones you are talking about are the universal bushings and won't work on our trucks.

I think they are the same ones 3-5177G or 3-5177R that go on the A-arms and the swaybar bracket.

pkbinplano 12-15-2002 11:09 AM

I think they are only about 15 beans a pair

The part number above are for four bushings, complete with brackets. The two on the frame will have zerk fittings, the two on the lower control arm don't. They will be like this photo, except for a 1-1/4" bar.

Wow! that swaybar looks alright, I better see if I can find one. What is the biggest factory replacement one available? Anyone know?

I think 1 1/4 is the biggest.
