Transporting air bagged trucks???
 

When transporting a truck/car with airbags on rollback, or whatever method used, what is the preferred, or better yet, correct method...Air down system? Or, air up system?:fb:

Shouldn't really matter. When a vehicle is ratcheted down, it's by the unsprung suspension components. If it lays frame or body when aired down, I would go aired up.

once is tied down it does not matter because it ain't moving..

i swear ive seen & answered this thread before.

if it does lay frame when its aired down, and you really dont want to worry about it... id strap unsprung compontents down, air it down until the frame is sitting on the trailer, then strap the frame to the trailer.

if it doesn't lay frame, just strap it like a normal car, just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't bleed down..

alot of guys put 2x4's under the frame rails then air the truck out then strap it down. That way you don't have to worry about doing any damage to the body while on the trailer.

transport it the same way you would a conventional suspended vehicle ... just make sure it doesn't have any leaks in the air system
