proportioning valve

i have a pro vavle off a 76 1/2 ton, these trucks had two seperate front brake lines coming out of the valve, my set up on the 68 has a t to seperate the front lines, could i use the 76 proportioning valve if i block off one of the brake line fitting? or should i trade some one for a 71-72 valve(hint, hint);)

I used a 75 prop valve on my 69, but used lines, hoses, master & all. If you allready have new lines, I would swap the prop valve for an earlier unit.......

I did the same as CrazyL. I used lines, p-valve(mounted in the stock 76 location of the splash shield), & the rubber flex lines @ the calipers for a 73-up. I just had to 'tweak' the hard lines coming off the m-cylinder slightly.
