Hi all,
New to the boards, but thought I might ask where is the best place to buy OEM parts? I am restoring a '72 GMC 1/2 ton stepside. I am needing a core support, and fenders. I thought OEM for a better fit, as I have had some trouble fitting parts b4.

Any insights as to OEM or aftermarket would be appreciated. Thanks

Since you have a GMC, I would suggest that you contact GMC Paul.

He carries a good line of parts,(unsure on oem saddle) and he is very knowledgeable on GMC's

Good luck on your GMC stepside. That should make you a nice truck.

I just finished up a 71 Chevy short step 4x4 this fall and it is a
blast to drive. The steps are not too usefull for hauling though.
Luckily we have other trucks, (9) total.
