?'s for you guys

OK so what are you guys doing as far as rearend's go. For example To my knowledge they do not have c-clip eliminators for are truck 12 bolts, and some of you seems to have some power going to the ground. Also I am curious about setting the pinion angle so any help their would be nice. I would like to run 10" street lite's with 325/50r15 any one have these or similar setup thank all oldno7

i'll be using the stock 12 bolt.. with the 3.08's.. welded up good and proper...

doubt it would last a good launch... but the saggy wouldn't either.

how much power are you planing on putting out?

My plans are to run the zz572. The prob is that I have this prob of going in reverse so to speak. I've always build my projects from the rear up. So This is just getting going after a few years of decisions. My plans call for a dana 60 35 spline-posi with a 4.56 gear on bil spe draglites 15-10 and 325/50/15's ET street radials 28" tall. That's why I asked about the pinion angle. I don't think it has the brackets so I will be setting up the rear myself. If anyone has this tire rim combo I'd like to see it

Re: ?'s for you guys

I had a factory 12 bolt with a Eaton posi in mine last time at the track. There were Zero mods to it so I thought. When it was redone with the 4.56's we found aftermarket axles in it (not sure who makes them). But the shop had a truck 12 bolt there that we used some C-clip E's off and Moser axles. Same Eaton but a set of 4.56's went in it.

I'm running a narrowed car twelve bolt from a 69 camaro with welded tubes, Mark Williams spool and 33 spline axles with Richmond Pro gears.

Re: ?'s for you guys

The truck 12 bolt isn't the same internally as the car version as I was told by a chassis guy I know. If I were going to be racing my ride full time I would go 9 inch. Only because you can change out the third member quickly at race time. I will be going Dana 60 as well since I believe in overkill ;)

Re: ?'s for you guys

no its not.. truck 12bolts have a smaller pinion shaft dia.
