72 plastic interior door panels
 

I have a 72 LWB ,I am trying to restore....of coarse dealing with PO hacks as usual. The interior door panels have been cut for a speaker. Has anyone repaired their door panels back to the original look without hacked speaker holes?

My first thought was to patch from behind the hole and use a flexible filler, sand down to contour and then spray with SEM texture spray to get back the plastic textured look. Then respray the panel with (Color bond) vinyl spray.

You can purchase repro panels from LMC truck.

As for patching them... to get the proper pattern I would think it to be quite hard. You can patch after all or you could buy a pair from the parts section when they would come up.
