differential overflow hose question -

Does anyone know if this hose on the diff is suppose to pull off, or is there a clamp? I can't tell and I don't want to screw it up by pulling too hard.

There is a clamp. The hose is actually a vent and not an overflow.

Just had mine off, mub dobers had it plugged real good. It pulled off even with the clamp in place as the original rubber was hard as a rock, the hose fell to pieces when I tried to clean it out. I replaced mine with about 2.5 feet of 5/16" fuel tubing.

My bad, overflow. Is the clamp the kind you pinch together with pliers or a screw type?

If stock, I believe it's the pinch type... well at least the two rear ends I worked with were.

The clamp is a pinch type and if you are wanting to restore the original color was a creamy yellow. In order to be absolutely correct there is also a vent installed in the end of the hose (really a one way check valve to prevent mud duabbers and other things from getting into the housing.
