Re: Rear swaybar setup off of 91 4x4 Burb $50
it's a rear sway bar so it should fit on a 2wd...that's what I have also...I just assumed it would fit....do we know for sure it won't fit on a 10 bolt?

You also have to figure, if this is a bolt on for a 4wd truck, it might not bolt up to a 2wd truck...springs and ride height are different. |

have an 84 4wd and would buy this ASAP

Re: Rear swaybar setup off of 91 4x4 Burb $50
can you measure where it mounted between the frame rails and tell me where you measured at and I'll take measurements also...that'll solve the dilemma ...thanks
or on second thought, you could just measure the bar and show me a picture where it mounts...then I can see if it'll work...thanks man |

Re: Rear swaybar setup off of 91 4x4 Burb $50
scratch that idea...I don't think it'll fit on a 1/2ton swb frame...

This setup came off a 1/2 ton 4wd truck w/ a 10 bolt. I assumed you couldnt use it because your truck is a 2wd? |
Re: Rear swaybar setup off of 91 4x4 Burb $50
It should work just fine on a 2wd, the frames are the same at the rear. BUT, the spring hangers are a different height between 4wd and 2wd, so the end links may need changed to a slightly different length. Not sure if it would work on a lowered truck though.
