Main bearing torque spec

Hey, does anyone know what the torque spec and sequence for a 69 350block with 2 bolt mains? I plan on removing the engine and dreplacing all the seals. Any suggestion on how to do this and perhaps keep it from leaking ever again:lol: I have a Fel pro gasket kit coming in and I want to do this right. I know to put a dab of RTV in the corners of the main gaskets, but anything else, or any little tricks you guys have would be greatly appreciated

I have had great success with heavy valve covers, not stamped. I used gaskets that were rubber and had a metal core. Got them at the local speed shop.

Wish the old engines had O-rings like the LS series.....:waah:
