6.0 liter HELP
 
I recently bought a 6.0 for my 72 4X4 ...I want to stay with my factory 4sp manual tranny . Has anbody done this conversion? Can anybody give me imput, on what I am about to get into...any help would be appreciated!

its a pretty straight forward swap if you keep the original tranny... other than all electronics and fuel system that accompany that motor. correct me if im wrong, but if you order the pilot bearing from ADVANCE ADAPTERS you can bolt up any stock chevy V8 transmission just fine with only one bolt that doesnt line up.

4.8,5.3,or 6.0 swaps are basically all the same.
i am running an sm465 with a newer style alum. bellhousing,hydro clutch setup.bushing in crank is just plain old sbc $5 brass bushing.i bought flywheel and clutch setup from advance adapters.simple and straightforward.
