what is the two hump heads ? most people think there 202 heads
but a engen biulder tould me they where 194 closed chamber. higher compression.

From what I've found, the double hump heads could be 2.02/1.60s or 1.94/1.50s with either 64 or 62 cc chambers.

461,462 291 are early close chamber 64cc valve sizes depend on application.have no accessary bolt holes .These are camel humps by nick name or 300 horse heads.also in this catagory are 040 but have no humps and very rare.186 have accessary bolt holes and humps 041 have accessary bolt holes and no humps there are several more castings that are service replacement parts plus the bowties I have collect at least one set of each over the years and run these on my trucks.They do not come with harden seats and must be installed to run on todays cheap gas.You need high octane fuel to run a high compression close chamber head .For everyday usage you are better off with open chamber 76cc heads and factory harden seats with mild compression for pump gas.

Depends on who wants them and purpose.Generally if you want to sell something everyone wants to steal it. If its not for sale they want it bad.Most of my stuff is not for sale as I collected to build trucks not sale parts.I met a guy who had a 68 z28 with a factory 302 at a car show a couple of years ago.He had 041s on his motor and I noted to him they where incorrect for his # matching restore.He knew this and was searching for 291 uncut castings dated Jan through Mar 68.When I told him I had a set he offered $800 right off the bat if the dates where right.I wasn't trying to sell just picking over details with friend on show cars.This was a set I took off a hundred dollar impala with a 327.I have over $1000 in parts and machine work on the 186s on my 406.Good not severely cut stock heads usually show up in the local trader every once in awhile from $150 to $300 Worked heads will sell for $500 and up.I have a set of 040s that I took off a 68 327 300 horse 1.94 1.5 valves The only other set I have ever seen belonged to a local machinest. The only reason I found out they where 300 heads is because I knew the history of the car.It was untouch # matching and build sheet and engine vin said 300 horse power.I was expecting humps.I checked casting numbers and decided to compare with 041s .They were the same except bolt holes .Even the marking on the end of the head is the same.

I have 3 sets 461s but only one set has and x I also have 4sets 041s and all have x 461x I have came off early vette and have higher volume runner from the factory I have a friend who runs these on a 67 class car he drags
